Jon MacDonald is a Greenville, SC native. He is a graduate of Furman University where he was also a two sport athlete. He played defensive back on the nationally ranked Furman Football team through the 2001-2005 seasons and was a sprinter for the Track team. During his years on the football team they won three Southern Conference Championships. He was also All Conference in Track his senior year. Upon graduation, he coached both football and track at Riverside High School in Greer, SC, where he also was a teacher’s assistant working in the special education department with a focus on children with autism. After two years, he started his business career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car where he quickly rose to Branch Manager. During his nearly 8 years in management with Enterprise Holdings, he achieved many awards for exceeding company goals and mentoring countless new employees, many which achieved multiple promotions along the way. During his progression, he made the best decision of his life and married his wife Tania. In his own words, he “out punted his coverage”. He is the proud father of daughters Kenna Grace and Nora Margaret and son Iain. Jon enjoys spending time outdoors and fishing in his free time, but more than anything, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.
