Norm graduated from Furman University, attending on a football scholarship playing for Bob King, Dick Sheridan and Art Baker. He received his MBA from Clemson University. Norm is a graduate of Greenville Chamber’s Leadership Greenville Class XIII. He brings 20 years experience as the Bellsouth Marketing Branch Manager and State Marketing Manager. Norm also managed a start up division of Hartness International before moving to Real Estate with The Cliffs Properties in Greenville. He started with C Dan Joyner in 2005. Phyllis began her career in Real Estate in 1979 with Johnny Flynn Company and then U S Shelter. She then changed to advertising sales with several local stations including WFBC, WMYI, WROQ, and WSSL, then in print media with Greenville Magazine and other publications and finally with Infinity Marketing Solutions before joining Norm at C Dan Joyner Realtors in early 2006.

They have 4 adult children, who graduated from UGA, NC State, Furman and Clemson. Phyllis’ heritage goes deep. Her grandfather was Mayor of Greenville and was instrumental in getting the Hyatt to move to Greenville and was instrumental in the Main Street revitalization in the 1970’s. He also was on City Council before being Mayor . He died in office . He had a huge passion for Greenville and the civil servants. Her great grandfather was a police office in Greenville who was killed in the line of duty. Norm’s family moved here from Scotland in the 1950’s for his dad’s career in textiles.

They have been married 34 years and have been active with many charities over the years. They are members of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church. They are ranked in the top2% of all Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Agents nationwide. They are consistently ranked in the top 2% of all agents in the Greenville Market.
